Xbox is expanding its gaming community through a new partnership with Amazon.
This collaboration allows Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play games directly from the Xbox app on select Fire TV devices via cloud gaming, providing more options for enjoying favorite games.
Starting in July, the Xbox app will be available on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2023) for $59.99 and the Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) for $49.99. This offers a budget-friendly, convenient, and portable way for new and experienced gamers to access a wide range of games.
All you need is a Fire TV Stick, a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. This setup gives you immediate access to hundreds of top-quality games, and includes “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II,” “Starfield,” and “Forza Horizon 5.”
Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout series, which includes “Fallout 76” and “Fallout 4,” is also available with Game Pass Ultimate. Fallout fans can play these games on Fire TV devices while watching the Fallout TV show on Prime Video!
Using the Xbox app is easy:
- Install and launch the Xbox app on your Fire TV device.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members get instant access to hundreds of cloud-enabled games.
- If you’re not a member, you can join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for a low monthly fee. You can also play “Fortnite” without a membership.
- Connect a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller, such as the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller.
- Start playing!
This initiative is part of Xbox’s mission to bring cloud gaming to more devices and people worldwide. By adding Fire TV to its supported devices, Xbox continues to grow its cloud gaming ecosystem and new players.
