It Takes Two has officially won Game of the Year at the 25th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. The PlayStation hit Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart took home the most awards at the show, It Takes Two won the big prize for Game of the Year.
Alongside winning Game of the Year, It Takes Two also took home the award for Outstanding Achievement in Game Design. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which also led the pack in nominations, won Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, Outstanding Technical Achievement, and Family Game of the Year.
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) that celebrated the best games of 2021.
Other notable winners were Halo Infinite, Lone Echo II, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Returnal all won multiple awards. The show honored Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
